ABSTRACT
Corporate governance is a topic of interest to both international investors and Chinese regulatory bodies. International investors invest in the Chinese local banks with a view to financial gain and the CBRC has encouraged CCBs to seek foreign partners with the aim of raising their skill set and expertise levels. Both of these objectives find congruency in corporate governance.
