ABSTRACT
Recent developments in technology have extended the capacity of microcomputers' considerably. Apart from permitting easier mathematical analysis, current microcomputers offer the ability to process text in various ways and to draw increasingly accurate diagrams, often with colour. The presentation of landscapes, graphs, maps and imagery becomes more realistic almost daily.
