ABSTRACT
This chapter focuses on the evaluation and renewal phase of the event planning model. The goal in this phase is to equip the event manager with the necessary knowledge to evaluate the event effectively and make datadriven decisions regarding renewing the event. This chapter discusses the background knowledge in evaluation and renewal for the event manager and the decisions required before evaluating. It is important to note that preparation for the evaluation and renewal phase begins in the development phase of the planning model and continues through all of the phases.
