ABSTRACT
The great poetic expression of Nietzschean enthusiasm for the demonic is Blake’s The Marriage of Heaven and Hell. I include it in this philosophical interlude because the line between philosophy and literature is of course an imprecise and shifting one, and because Blake’s genre-bending poem is among other things a work of provocative philosophy.
