ABSTRACT
The Malinowskis arrived on the ‘Borda’ at Tilbury on 24 April 1920. During the long journey from Melbourne they had gone ashore at several ports of call, the last two being Durban and Cape Town. Their ship had then sailed past the Canary Islands, which Bronio had known in his youth, along the coast of Tenerife with its famous Peak, Mt Teide.
