ABSTRACT
The last thing that the Paris Peace Agreement brought to Vietnam was peace. In the days prior to the Agreement PLAF/PAVN had seized territory in order to claim it as their own. The GVN responded by launching a counteroffensive immediately afterwards. The Americans may have departed from Vietnam, but the war did not.
