ABSTRACT

Psychopathy is perhaps, as Neumann and colleagues (2007) put it, the earliest and the most documented and studied personality disorder. Being a multifaceted construct (Farrington, 2006), it is marked by a pattern of maladaptive personality traits that include explanatory components such as high emotionality, impulsiveness, low empathy and callousness, as well as behavioural aspects, such as antisociality and an irregular life style.
