ABSTRACT
INTRODUCTION Very often, these topics are joined with the free movement of workers, and therefore a good understanding of all three aspects should be obtained. This is especially true as the Court has held that the principles of non-discrimination, etc, are the same whether it is Art 45 TFEU (the free movement of workers), Art 49 TFEU (the freedom or right of establishment for the self-employed and companies) or Art 56 TFEU (the freedom to provide services). Problem questions are very popular in this area of Community law although, on law degrees, it is not uncommon to have an essay question on the freedom of establishment for lawyers.
