ABSTRACT
There can be few employment law examination papers that do not contain at least one question on unfair dismissal. Sometimes, essay-type questions are set in this area, but more often than not the questions are problems. There is a very simple way to break down unfair dismissal problems, which leads the student through the question logically and should help to identify which particular area the problem concentrates upon.
