ABSTRACT
The aims of this chapter are to:
identify the nature and scope of the environment as an input into the event industry;
examine the environmental influences on venues in both the natural and built environments;
explore the ways in which the environment impacts on the running of events; and
unravel the environmental context of the event supply chain.
