ABSTRACT
The aims of this chapter are to:
explore the history of urban regeneration in the domain of events and assess why it has received so much attention relative to other environmental impacts;
examine the nature of event-stimulated urban regeneration; and
evaluate the success of such regeneration with respect to selected case studies.
