It is not a question of whether we take homosexuality into account or not, but of how we produce homosexuality in our account. . . . If this premise is not acknowledged, then the positions of ‘man’ and ‘woman’ will be taken as given and the work of the production or maintenance of those positions will remain invisible, thus confirming the heterosexual presumption.
