ABSTRACT
Sally is a 27-year-old woman with moderate learning difficulties. She reported first hearing voices at 12 years when she was resident in a children’s home. Sally’s mother had been diagnosed with schizophrenia and she was unable to care for her daughter at the time, although Sally visited her regularly.
