ABSTRACT

This chapter examines the nature of the research that has taken place at St Ivo School during its membership of SUPER. It does so by exploring a number of perspectives from within the school and considering how such views and understandings have changed over time. The chapter sets out to illustrate what has been particular about this school’s research stories, while recognising that there have been similar experiences, concerns and achievements in all the schools. It is based on evidence collected primarily between 2002 and 2005, including interviews with staff and students, observations of lessons and meetings, and documentary information including reports and records of research activities.
