ABSTRACT
If the plane is now turned about the centre, so that one complete rotation is effected in an hour, then in this hour a b has traversed the entire smaller circumference while its equal, a’b’ has traversed the entire larger circumference. And this has taken place in such a way that when ab occupies the nth part of the smaller surface, a’b’ occupies the 2nth part of the larger surface.
