ABSTRACT
Imagine you want to organize a political event such as a rally in support of the state of Israel. How would you go about it? Would you contact your friends and ask them to come? Use social media such as Facebook to advertise the event? Perhaps look up people with Jewish-sounding names and contact them, asking them to join your rally? Or, rather than building everything from scratch, would you contact all the synagogues in your area and ask them to support your effort and urge their congregants to come?
