ABSTRACT
Many people who ask to borrow a magazine from the waiting room insist that it is a minor issue. According to Langs (1973), however, it is a break in the frame of the treatment and, according to Greenson (2008), it is a break in the working alliance, since the person is doing something that is not part of the contract with the therapist.
