ABSTRACT

Pollution affects us all, particularly given the propensity for contaminants and waste to circulate around the world in air and sea currents, for the world’s waste to leach into air, water and soil, and for the growing mountain of discarded e-waste to be transferred around the world assisted by the globalization of trade on both licit and illicit markets. The landscapes of pollution and waste are interconnected and serve as a poignant reminder that, despite differences, we are all citizens of a single planet.
