Health and safety management systems 4 – measuring, audit and review

The ILO guidelines on occupational safety and health management systems (ILO-OSH 2001) require the following under performance monitoring and measurement:

(a) Procedures to monitor, measure and record OSH performance on a regular basis should be developed, established and periodically reviewed. Responsibility, accountability and authority for monitoring at different levels in the management structure should be allocated.
