6.1.2 Welfare Welfare arrangements include the provision of sanitary conveniences and washing facilities, drinking water, accommodation for clothing, facilities for changing clothing and facilities for rest and eating meals. First-aid provision is also a welfare issue, but is covered in Chapter 3. Welfare and work equipment issues are covered by the ILO R102 Welfare Facilities Recommendation 1956.
