ABSTRACT
This chapter provides an overview of copyright law within the context of intellectual property as it has developed around the world. It explores international copyright and trade agreements and their impact on U.S. copyright law. The challenge faced by lawmakers to keep copyright laws current with the rapid technological changes of recent years is examined. Copyright reform in the U.K. is an illustration of an of-themoment example of entrepreneurial thinking and problem solving on a huge scale.
