ABSTRACT
Every news story, no matter the amount of time used to report it or space used to tell it, presents the journalist with a myriad of decisions. The journalist has to decide what to cover, who to talk to, what questions to ask, what reporting tools to use, what is newsworthy, what needs to be understood, what should be included or what can be left out. This list represents just a few of the decisions we have addressed so far in practicing convergence journalism. All of these decisions aim to ensure the journalist is putting together a news story that will inform, enlighten, and sometimes even entertain a news audience.
