ABSTRACT
In most stagnated rural areas, resource deficiency is a major obstacle for economic development. However, even in such areas, the majority of people possess intangible assets associated with human relationships, resulting from shared history and showing itself in a sense of solidarity, a hometown feeling, a sense of social responsibility, or common ethics and values. Human relationships in themselves are a significant asset for the creation and establishment of a regional business.
