ABSTRACT
Writing about the way in which scientific narratives are elaborated, and acknowledging the threat that the notion of narrativity presents in relation to our traditional conception of science, Landau poses the following question:
Does working within a narrative form negate the conscious goals and rationales of doing science? This question can be rephrased as: Are narratives testable?
