ABSTRACT
How do foreigners influence China’s policy process? Or, alternatively, how do Chinese policy-makers and institutions incorporate foreign models and expert knowledge into their own agendas? This chapter will provide answers to these questions by contextualizing and describing representative activities of the three associations under investigation here.
