ABSTRACT
As it was already stressed before, though border security is a much used concept, referred in situations when a state tries to protect itself against external challenges, the practical employment of this term is weakly supported theoretically. The number of theoretical works on border security is still relatively small, and they usually do not claim comprehensive conceptualization of the phenomenon.
