ABSTRACT
In this chapter we cut through the confusion existing in the literature around the concept of net energy analysis, in particular with regard to its application to quan-tify the ‘quality’ (feasibility and desirability) of alternative energy sources and new energy technologies. In doing so, we build on the various theoretical concepts discussed in the preceding chapters.
