European Investment Bank Lending for Energy Projects other than Nuclear Power

The great industrial expansion which the creators of the European Community wanted depended partly on increased supplies of electrical power. In support of this policy, therefore, the European Investment Bank has granted loans for a wide range of energy enterprises over long periods of time (see Table 5a).
