ABSTRACT
This method can be used as a means of encouraging younger pupils to visualise, and therefore mentally comprehend, a historical event or location - when all they have to go on is the evidence of a written text. The activity could also be used with older pupils as a way of making them think more deeply about abstract concepts or a certain idea from, or aspect of, the past.
