ABSTRACT

As action learning facilitators, we have witnessed large South Korean companies actively engage in action learning programs. The goal of these programs is to adapt to rapidly changing management environments and global markets by developing leadership and the organization as a whole. As introduced in Chapter 3, the two types of action learning programs (action learning for leadership development and action learning for organization development) at the program level are used in South Korea. In this chapter, we will introduce three representative action learning programs for leadership development including: LIG’s Real Change Leader Program, Daehan Life Insurance Co.’s Action Consulting Expert Program, and Samsung Heavy Industries’ Action Learning Program.
