Chapter 5 examined methods activists typically use to try to bring about change and showed that architecture and design may also be understood in terms of these methods. Although that chapter hinted at the political nature of these methods, this chapter examines politics more explicitly, particularly the idea of building power to bring about change, even on a low budget.
