ABSTRACT
Many of our senses have been involved throughout this journey. It has mostly been about the ears, but the eyes have also been involved: in our soundwalks; with our scores and storyboards; learning how to use our software and the various bits and pieces of equipment that we have needed; with our sound installations and performances; and, naturally, watching other people react to the music, in particular your own. Touch was relevant when working with the tools of our trade and, again, with some sound installations and performances. Even smell may have enhanced the total awareness experience. Can any readers remember whether your taste buds were involved at some point?
