ABSTRACT
This chapter outlines debates relating to attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). It presents a definition of ADHD and considers its prevalence then looks at identification and assessment of the condition. The chapter outlines disorders which co-occur with ADHD, and considers causal factors. Turning to provision, it examines the curriculum and assessment, pedagogy; resources; therapy; and organisation.
