ABSTRACT

The world is changing. There are approximately two billion Internet and five billion mobile phone connections worldwide. Life without digital technologies, and in particular digital media, would not be life as we now know it. As information is increasingly digitised and communication becomes embedded in digital networks, massive shifts are taking place in the ways in which we organise work, do business, look after each other and keep ourselves entertained. The ways we learn are changing and the ways we teach are beginning to respond to those changes.
