ABSTRACT

‘At first it was all clear. We were going to have a baby. But now it’s all cloudy. I don’t know what I’ll do, or if I’ll be any use. I’ve never changed a nappy. I was amazed when she told me how big they are when bom. I don’t know at all. I’ve always avoided handling a baby, in case I dropped it. Like I said, it’s all cloudy now. Perhaps after it’s born – hope so anyway – it’ll come all clear again.’
