ABSTRACT
There is not much new that can be added. Conclusions concerning both the present deterioration and the future prospects of STEs, as well as their determinants, are to be found throughout the pages, and summarising them now would be both uninteresting and superfluous. In consequence, I will add only four brief remarks constituting comments on my earlier discussion.
