ABSTRACT
Real Life Heroes® can be used as part of an integrated trauma-informed system of services in a wide range of child and family service programs. The RLH Assessment and Service Plan Review system can be used to guide service planning and to coordinate, review, adjust, and evaluate services. The step-by-step guides for each chapter include suggested activities to integrate services by therapists with home-based support staff, residential counselors, or other service providers. The RLH Life Storybook and RLH Toolkit provide a portable treatment system that can go with children who are moved from program to program and therapist to therapist to promote continuity of treatment.
