ABSTRACT
While the previous chapters have described a rational view of the supply chain, making the supply chain work is mainly a leadership challenge. It is a particularly difficult one because it requires leading across different companies, and often the people involved tend to be technical and have a somewhat mechanistic view of management. This makes leading the supply chain particularly demanding.
