Comparison of Strategies and Policies for the Development of Agriculture in China and Africa

Alongside historical heritage, agricultural strategies and policies can be considered to be one of the important factors contributing to China’s significant achievements in agriculture development. ‘China’s agriculture relies both on policies and technologies’ ( Deng, 1982: 22). This chapter will compare the strategies and policies for the development of agriculture in China and Africa. These strategies include strategic considerations, specific policies and implementation measures.
