ABSTRACT

It must be apparent to all that some groups, having completed their tasks, actually come to an end. It must also be apparent that some groups come to an end before this point, for a whole variety of reasons. But what is less apparent but equally important is that some groups keep on going. Some continue in the same form as when they started. Others change quite dramatically, whether by an act of will of their members, by force of circumstances, or because they change what they are attempting to do.
