ABSTRACT

To design schools and schooling to meet Angelica’s needs expressed in Chapter 2, we must ask what are the significant differences between the way schooling has been provided in the past and the model for schooling which is appropriate in the twenty-first century. That model will be shaped by bigger issues, principally by questions relating to how people conceive of their world and the belief systems they share. Is there a coherent unifying way we can depict the life-space which Angelica is to inherit as an adult? In fact there is.
