ABSTRACT

All the standard game frameworks can be varied to change the emphasis. The variations below illustrate how they can be adapted and repeated to different effect through the development process.

Name Game

• Drop the memory element of the game Participants start by simply saying their name in turn. Afterwards they can repeat the exercise, each saying something about themselves. Later in the process the memory aspect can be introduced. This gradual approach is suitable for special needs groups and those with limited language skills.
