As detailed earlier, your fund-raising strategy needs to be part of, and a counterpart to, your annual development planning process. In the same way that subjects such as pupil development, academic achievement and school performance are now monitored year-onyear, so must fund-raising. Your school needs to celebrate its successes in this field – however small – and use the experiences to improve its resources.
