ABSTRACT
This chapter looks at the future of the Danish forest school approach and outlines some of the facets that are a part of its success and future. The chapter uses research that supports the beneficial uses of the outdoors for children’s development and learning; details about the research are given in Appendix 2. There are signs that indicate future trends in the Danish forest school approach from parents, local politicians and research perspectives.
