ABSTRACT
Most commonly the parental legal right of withdrawal is exercised by Jehovah’s Witnesses, though this is not universal among Witness families. It may be that apart from the name, all that most teachers know about Jehovah’s Witnesses is their refusal of blood transfusions and of the celebration of birthdays and Christmas. Appendix II provides more background information on this religious group.
