It should be a person who refers to published research in an attempt to find answers, thus further enlightening and informing knowledge of the learning processes involved; someone who is likely to be a person who will influence the thinking of others. These are the strengths needed to motivate and lead staff in order to improve the quality of the education our children receive. It is these qualities of observation and inquiry, of interest and enthusiasm that will give you, the English coordinator, the strength to inspire, encourage, support and guide those around them.
