ABSTRACT

Technology lies at the heart of the green economy (Dierdorff, Norton, Gregory, Rivkin, & Lewis, this book). Trends in pollution, climate change, and the increasing scarcity of natural resources have heightened concern for the environment, prompting new technological solutions and innovations across the globe (Strietska-Ilina, Hofmann, Durán Haro, & Jeon, 2011). Implications for the world of work abound, providing opportunities for industrial and organizational (I-O) psychology research and practice to contribute to environmental sustainability.
