ABSTRACT
LIAISON COMMITTEE OF WOMENS’ INTERNATIONAL ORGANISATIONS The body was established in 1925 as the Joint Standing Committee of Women’s International Organisations with the aim of promoting the influence of women in international affairs. A second group of national committees joined in 1931 and in 1934 the name of the latter body was adopted.
