ABSTRACT
UNION OF EUROPEAN FEDERALISTS/ EUROPEAN UNION OF FEDERALISTS The organisation sought to bring together, on an individual basis, groups supporting federalism and the creation of a European Federation by democratic means, irrespective of political, philosophical or religious affiliations. It organised many popular initiatives in favour of the convocation of a ‘European Constituent Assembly’ or election of a ‘European Parliament’.
