ABSTRACT
For our imaginary rehearsal we have selected Arthur Miller’s The Crucible for three basic reasons: 1) it is a play with an important social purpose; 2) the story is full of dynamic conflict that lends itself to the need to choose strong verbal and physical actions; and 3) it offers wonderful opportunities to work on subtext.
